This past Sunday, the Grit and Gratitude Youth wrestlers traveled to West Springfield High School to compete in the 2026 USAW MWA 12U/15U Sectional Qualifier.

For several of our athletes, this was their first time having to qualify after moving up in age group. We had eight wrestlers battling for a spot in next week’s State Tournament — and every single one of them showed up hungry and ready to leave it all on the mat.

I can’t put into words how proud I am of each and every one of these kids. The countless hours of preparation. The blood, sweat, and tears. The commitment to showing up every single day — whether after a big win or a tough loss.

We constantly preach trusting the process, believing in the work, and embracing both victory and adversity. This weekend was a true reflection of that mindset.

God is great, and I am truly blessed to be part of their journey.
