Today, the Grit and Gratitude Wrestling Academy had 6 wrestlers travel to Gloucester High School to compete in the 12U/15U Massachusetts State Wrestling Tournament.
Representing our 12U division:

• Ayden Garcia – 63 lbs
• Kaysen Beaulieu – 67 lbs
• Marco Buonconti – 86 lbs
• Noah Hoover – 86 lbs
• Sam Depalo – 98 lbs

Our lone 15U warrior:

• Micah Naylor Jr – 92 lbs

Every one of these young warriors came ready for battle, leaving it all on the mat. This is just the beginning of their journey — and they are ALL champions in my eyes.

Massachusetts State Results:

• 🥇 Ayden Garcia – Massachusetts State Champion
• 🥈 Kaysen Beaulieu (67 lbs) – Massachusetts State Runner-Up
• 🥉 Micah Naylor Jr (92 lbs) – 3rd Place
• 4th – Noah Hoover (86 lbs)
• 5th – Marco Buonconti (86 lbs)
• DNP – Sam Depalo (98 lbs)

Back to the grind tomorrow as these young warriors and their 6U, 8U, and 10U teammates prepare for Youth New Englands in mid-March.

I am truly blessed to be part of the Grit and Gratitude Family. These kids are amazing. Their parents are incredibly supportive. Our coaching staff understands the mission. This is a lot of work — and it takes an army to make it happen.
