This weekend 16 wrestlers from Grit and Gratitude Wrestling Academy stepped on the mat at the Youth New Englands and every single one of them came ready to battle.

There were smiles, tough losses, big wins, and a lot of lessons learned. That’s all part of the journey. I kept reminding them that this is God’s plan and part of preparing them for the future.

With 12 mats running all day, it was a wild and chaotic tournament, but our kids showed incredible GRIT, heart, and sportsmanship from start to finish.

Win or lose, I couldn’t be more proud of these young warriors and the way they represented The DEN.

Now it’s back to the DEN Monday to make adjustments and get ready for our first Dual Meet Tournament as a club.
